Hey Guys,
I am from Coatesville Uniting Church, just down the road from you, and I am just setting up a new website for our church. I know Brendon-the Admin here-from when we were at school and have been following what he has been doing with this site. It looks great, but I have noticed that, while you have many users registered...there are only a few posts in the forum. And, from experiencing how other online communities are set up and run, I think the main problem here are that the forums are being too limiting.

Below is listed how I think you might like to layout your forums, I will be following this exactly, as I have pulled versions from a couple of different sites and merged them. Brendon may like to have a look at this and see if he can get it put into play too. I have changed a couple of things from the way I will have it set out, and hopefully this will suite your church a little better.

A room where the Admin provides insights to what things are going on here at Eastleigh Community Church.
Important Forum Information
This room is where you can find information on ranks, rules and things of a similar nature.
Gathering Hall
This room is for polite discussions about whatever topics you don't see a room for.
New Members
Where New Members come to introduce themselves.
Survey Section
Need a second opinion on a tough question? Why not get a whole bunch of opinions. This room is just for polls.

Public Rooms
Open Chat
Where even those who are not Members can talk with us.
Questions About Christianity
You don't need to be a member to seek some answers to your questions about Christianity. Ask away, but please be polite.
